Redwood City General Plan Final EIR and Public Hearing

The day after the Saltworks proposal starts we get a notice that the Final EIR for the Redwood City General Plan will be heard at the September 7, 2010 Redwood City Council meeting.

Notice of Public Hearing

Please reserve this night for attending the meeting, sending comments or at least viewing via web or PenTv channel 26.

We will set a meeting or phone conference to review the cities responses to our comments on the Draft EIR as soon as we recieve a copy.

Here is a link to the video archive of Monday night's council meeting for those who missed it. All the speakers did an excellent job of presenting their views and the Raging Grannies led us all in a song entitled This Bay is Our Bay, This Bay is Your Bay!

Current Campaign: Our primary focus is on protecting the Redwood City
bay front from Cargill’s massive development through political and public
participation. We seek a positive solution for restoration of the salt marshes
to tidal wetlands.

of the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project - California's Everglades! Also,
Bay-Delta and Coastal wetlands in our region.
Usual Meeting: 2nd Thursday of each month at the Redwood Shores Library
at 399 Marine Parkway (at Bridge Parkway), Redwood City, CA. Please note:
